Shadia is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker based in Seattle, WA. She has over 10 years of experience helping people with depression, anxiety, chronic illness, substance abuse, trauma, grief and loss. She offers a safe space to explore and process the human experience.
Shadia’s therapeutic approaches may integrate aspects of CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), somatic therapy, existential therapy, ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), art therapy and pet therapy.

Shadia received her Masters in Social Work in 2008 from Dominican University in Chicago, Illinois and her Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University in 1999. She is currently studying art therapy at the Trauma-Informed Practices & Expressive Arts Therapy Institute. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
